A 15 year old property in an exclusive garden square development in Holland Park with an outdated commercial system serving the entire 5 storey property requiring replacement with new, fit-for-purpose climate control systems.
Calibre were commissioned to design and install a whole-house climate control system to replace a dilapidated, commercial-grade Variable Air Volume system (VAV). This system required large ductwork, ceiling void space and large plant rooms to maintain the system.
The new comfort cooling and mechanical ventilation systems designed and installed focused on a residential application – with increased comfort, more accurate and precise zone control, and silent operation to contribute to the living comfort. As a result, 800mm of additional ceiling height in parts of the Basement and extra floorspace throughout the entire property was released back into useable living space.
The systems are finished with a combination of plastered-in linear diffusers and linear bar grilles, complementing the grand yet understated interior design of the home. In the Master Bedroom suite and in the Ground floor Formal Dining room linear diffusers are integrated into the cornice detailing providing minimal visual impact. Linear slot diffusers at 700mm length provide a clean edge to ventilation in each bathing space.
Having worked with Calibre on a number of high-end residential projects, I’ve been impressed by the quality of work delivered by the team. They are professionals in their field and know their job, their attention to detail and collaborative attitude is impeccable. This is why we never hesitate to recommend Calibre to our clients – we know the job will be completed to the highest standard.
