Highly experienced in the design processes of luxury spaces from initial concept to pre-project specification

Our Consultative Approach

We are experienced in the design processes of luxury spaces from initial concept to project delivery and provide a wealth of knowledge that perfectly compliments the skills of the architect, interior designer and mechanical and electrical consultant. We understand the client requirement of precision climate control which cannot be seen, heard or felt.

Stage 1&2 – Feasibility, Scope of Works and Planning Pre-App Advice

Early engagement of Calibre Climate during Stage 1 & 2 will ensure a full understanding of the client’s conceptual design. This will enable the introduction of ideas for non-visual integration of climate control, which can be developed into the overall design.

Design workshops help define the client’s whole housing climate control requirements. Feasibility of climate control to specialist areas such as indoor swimming pools, saunas and spas, media and cinema rooms, private wine cellars and collections will be determined.

Stage 3 – Outline Design and Planning Application

Site positioning of external plant, carrying out external sound survey and acoustic report, confirmation of any acoustic treatment.

Confirmation of architectural aesthetic requirements and collaboration with appointed services consultant or other CDP parties.

Documentation required to obtain planning permission for the external plant.

Drawings detailing internal plant and service routes, and access requirements

Stage 4 – Final Detailed Design and Technical Specification

Finalization of detailed design including heat gain calculations for each space.

Close coordination with all other consultants to ensure spatial requirements of plant, integration of architectural slots and installation methods are all considered.

Attendances at design and coordination meetings as requested.

Issue of final scope of works and technical specification, including equipment schedules and drawings for AC equipment, ventilation equipment, acoustic and attenuation, fire stopping. Schedules to include technical data, power supplies, control integration, drawings to include locations of all equipment, electrical schematics and pipe and ductwork sizing and routes.

Calibre's ability to assist in design is what stands out for me. This design ability and their seamless integration with Building Management Systems and Home Automation Systems makes me very happy when I see them on the appointed contractor list.
