A full installation of the Climate Control package includes design input throughout project duration. Typical stages include first fix and pre-ceiling closure sign-off, integration of services within joinery and architectural slots, and commissioning and client demonstration of controls.
Management of supply chain, ensuring timely procurement and delivery of project-centric equipment and product, facilitating the project process when long-lead times have to be considered. Installing climate control within luxury environments involves creating unique solutions with equipment and ancillaries integral to the building structure and fabric. Programming and close coordination with other specialist trades ensures that ductwork, pipework, cabling, fan-coils, fans and ventilation equipment are delivered and installed to schedule. Commissioning includes final installation quality inspection, system settings checks, and programme fine-tuning. As part of the project O&M package, our commissioning logbooks record all key equipment metrics such as temperatures, pressures and flow rates.
The issue of as-built drawings and commissioning certificates assists contractor practical completion. Client demonstration of the equipment and controls accompanies the handover of the building.
Calibre have worked on the last five projects of mine, and I am looking forward to working with them again on my next project.
