WHAT MAKES Inversa® UNIQUE

Simultaneous heating and cooling: Comfort in every room, all year round.
Heat recycling: Energy removed by the air conditioning in warmer rooms is redirected to heat cooler spaces, or used to generate domestic hot water.
Unified control: Each zone uses a single thermostat for seamless, year-round temperature regulation.
Compact performance: Smaller refrigerant-based fan coil units (FCUs) replace larger chilled-water units.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Inversa® seamlessly integrates underfloor heating or radiators, domestic hot water, and air conditioning, all linked to an air source heat pump (ASHP) through a heat recovery module and unified control system.

Heating mode: When there’s no cooling demand, Inversa® functions like a standard ASHP, heating both the domestic hot water cylinder and underfloor heating buffer tank.
Cooling mode: When cooling is required, the system switches modes, cooling the property while transferring recovered heat into the domestic hot water system.
- This either pre-warms the mains cold feed to the hot water cylinder if water is being drawn off, or directly heats the cylinder if no draw-off is occurring. Once the cylinder reaches temperature, any surplus heat is expelled externally via the ASHP, allowing continuous cooling without interruption.
Combined mode: Inversa® enables simultaneous heating and cooling, recovering heat from warmer zones and redistributing it to cooler areas to maintain uniform comfort and maximise efficiency.
A weather-compensated control system — including a master panel, room thermostats, motorised valves, and temperature sensors — coordinates the entire operation to maintain ideal comfort and maximise energy efficiency.
