Provide comfort cooling to the Master Bedroom, Kitchen and Living space, to provide a high level of residential comfort in a high-end, well-presented mews property.
Due to the quiet environment with close neighbours, the secluded square, and lack of external space, an internal condenser unit was installed into the compact roofspace. Mounted on high-performance acoustic mounts to prevent internal noise transfer, this connected to two fan-coil
units in the Master Bedroom and Kitchen/Living space downstairs, with services integrated in the building fabric and ongoing refurbishment works.
In the Master Bedroom the fan-coil unit connects to a room-side discreet linear bar grille set at high-level and architecturally aligned to the space. In the Kitchen the fan-coil unit was carefully designed into the bespoke joinery unit containing the Bar, with joinery slot details formed in the fascia, adequately sized for optimum airflow.
The systems are controlled via a Smartphone App connected through Wifi to the systems and ensures intuitive control of the climate in the main areas of this luxury property.
We are extremely grateful to Calibre for their design support throughout this project and the client is delighted with the final outcome.
